PROTOCOL DEVELOPMENT USING NETWORK SIMULATOR (NS)”

Studies (MSRSAS) is pleased to announce a three day seminar cum
workshop on “Network Simulation and Protocol Development using Network Simulator
(ns)” from August 23 – 25, 2012 at its premises.
This seminar cum workshop is
designed to impart knowledge of the architecture, scripting and
programming of ns2 and ns3 network simulators. Simulation design and
intricacies of input generation and output analysis will be covered in detail.
Practical sessions on the TCL scripting used for scenario generation,
accompanied by simulation output analysis and hands-on routing protocol
development in ns2 will be conducted. A balanced emphasis is placed on the
conceptual and practical aspects of network simulation and simulation
programming. The speakers have extensive experience of design, implementation
and simulation of new routing protocols using ns2 and ns3.
The aim of the three day seminar cum
workshop is to expose the participants to the network simulation theory and ns
hands-on enabling them:
1.
To understand the architecture, API, scripting and programming
of ns2 and ns3
2.
To carry out the design of network simulation experiments, input
generation and output analysis using ns2
3.
To use TCL scripting for scenario generation and simulation
using ns2
4.
To design, implement and simulate routing protocols using ns2
